She regularly attends courses to help improve her dental knowledge. During her time in the NHS, she had completed an MSc in Primary Dental Care (with Merit), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (with Merit). Her dissertation was published as an abstract in the International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Ikeda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and visiting exhibitions. Having recently relocated to Singapore, she also enjoys exploring its heritage and discovering all the good food spots.
